NURTURE YOUR INTUITION AND INNER STRENGTH

Yoga is ineffable; it is much more than stepping onto a mat and moving through sun salutations and asanas. This, however, is the gateway—the initial encounter. In many ways, yoga is a type of meditation. It is a slowing down so that we may reconnect with our mental, physical, and emotional bodies. It's easy to get caught up in the "doing," but the practice is all about the noticing. Being with what is because what is, is what's happening now. 

The best part? All you need to do is show up. You don't have to memorize the yoga sutras, understand Sanskrit, or be flexible. Yoga is the journey of the Self, through the Self, to the Self. Through this union of body, mind, and breath, we can access a path that is authentically ours. Transformation, healing, and higher consciousness unfold naturally because that is our natural state of being. 

As a former ballet dancer, I teach a style of Vinyasa flow that is fluid, musical, and grounded in bodily intuition. Imagine losing yourself in the music on the dance floor, feeling the joy that comes from connectedness, and residing wholeheartedly in your experience—this is what I hope you'll experience in my classes. I encourage my students to prioritize what feels right for them. If you need to spend the entire class in savasana, embrace that. My goal is to promote sovereignty, not deference. The word yoga means union and genuine union arises from the restoration of the spirit—the part of us that is independent from societal hierarchies and interconnected with all living beings.

Through yoga, we can see ourselves and others as we truly are: whole, worthy, and enough.

I call my teaching style 'West Coast Flow'—a vibrant blend of traditional Vinyasa and elements of Power Yoga, infused with the fluidity and musicality of my ballet background. This approach allows students to ride the wave of the music, fostering a fun and engaging environment where movement feels natural and joyful. Instead of isolating each pose, we emphasize a dynamic flow from one asana to the next, promoting strength and flexibility. Additionally, breathwork and meditation are often woven into the practice, enhancing mindfulness and deepening your overall experience.
